If you're watching this series because you heard it is was made by the same creative mind as Cowboy Bebop then let me clarify; it's also directed by Shinichiro Watanabe of Excel Saga renown. As such, the show is entirely off the rails and more about being ridiculous and a parody of all of the space mercenary type shows than it is about being meaningful in any way. Each episode is a self contained story that ranges from fighting HD technicolor dinosaurs to becoming zombies. The first episode is a perfect representation of the tone of the series and if Watanabe's past productions are any indicator then you can expect the same tone and pacing for the entire series.

If the idea of an insane space cowboy capturing aliens for money that he makes exclusively to visit restaurants themed around girls with large breasts sounds like your thing, then give it a watch. How much do you really have to lose with a $2 stream?
